Now, aside from the effects on the human body, wether positive or negative, we must realize that we are giving the government more rights with every decition we make. If we illegalize pot we grant the government authority to do so. The government now posesses authority to ban a substance from the u.S.A. No, I do not think it is good to smoke grass, but cigarretts are even more harmful in the long run than "pot" is. If you are going to grant the government authority to ban a substance, than it should damn well be ciggaretts.

Tuaio Furior what the h*** are you talking about? For one thing if youre gonna blog then learn how to spell. Second of all dont be against the government or the pres. because thats just wrong. Pot is wrong on all terms even if its for medical purposes because you can get addicted to it and end up being a drugee for life. Go to school or back to school and learn something. :)
1. Yes, "pot" is wrong ethically, physically, socially, morally, and religiously. I am in complete agreement. However, I do not think that it is the governments place to dictate that fact to us. And as I have previously pointed out, statistics verify that marijuana is less harmfull to the human body than tobacco. I am merely concerned that the government is attaining too much power. Ok well it seems to me that you just completely switched sides on what you said before. I agree that cigs should not be legal but it is and if your gonna start a petition about it then ill sign but otherwise theirs nothing we can do about it. But we can prevent pot from being legal right now today and even if "in the long run cigs are worst than pot" it doesnt mean that we should ignore pot and just let it slide because something legal and settled is worse.
